Managing Your Account
Use this guide to keep your Shared Services profile accurate, protect access to your account, and recover it safely when something changes.
Keep details current
Use an email address and phone number you actively monitor.
Protect access
Use a unique password and never share credentials.
Review alerts
Act promptly on login and security notifications.
Update your profile
- Sign in to the Secure Shared Services customer portal.
- Open your account or profile settings.
- Review your name, email address and phone number, then save your changes.
- If an email change requires verification, complete the confirmation sent to the new address.
Use accurate and up-to-date information. Some billing, ownership or security-sensitive changes may require additional verification by Support.
Password and social sign-in
You can sign in with your email and password or with an enabled social provider. When a provider returns the same verified email address, the service may associate that sign-in with the existing customer account. Always confirm that the provider email belongs to you.
- Use a strong password that is not reused on another service.
- Never send passwords, recovery codes or social-provider credentials in a support ticket.
- If you receive an unfamiliar login alert, change your password immediately and review your email account security.
Reset or recover access
Use Forgot password to request a reset link. If you no longer control the registered email address, sign in to the Support Portal and open a ticket. We may request evidence of account or service ownership before making changes.
Roles and responsible use
Access is personal and should follow the least-privilege principle. Do not share credentials or attempt to bypass security controls. Where team access is available, use separate named users and assign only the permissions each person needs.
Corporate reference
The formal rules for account creation, roles, credential handling, logging, suspension and deactivation are set out in the corporate policy.
